Parisian Charm: An Engagement in the City of Romance
There is no city more fitting to capture love in its most elegant form than Paris. From the iconic Louvre to the graceful Tuileries Garden, the city exudes timeless beauty and romance at every turn. Whether strolling hand-in-hand along the Seine, crossing the historic bridges, or gazing at the Eiffel Tower’s majestic presence, Paris offers an unmatched backdrop for an engagement session.

A day of unforgettable moments in the heart of Paris
In July 2021, when travel restrictions were still very much in place, we didn’t let anything stop us from capturing love in one of the most iconic cities in the world, Paris. With the world slowly reopening, it felt like a rush of excitement to board a plane to the City of Light and be part of such a special journey for Natalie & Max. They had traveled all the way from London, and little did we know that this would mark the beginning of a day full of adventure and a beautiful new friendship.
There’s truly no city more fitting to capture love than Paris. As photographers, we’ve had the privilege of shooting in many beautiful places, but Paris offers an elegance and charm like no other. From the historic Louvre to the serene Tuileries Gardens, every corner of Paris feels like a scene from a romance movie. Our day began with a relaxed stroll, capturing beautiful moments and sharing conversations along the way.
One of the highlights of the day was walking across the Alexander III Bridge, where we paused to soak in the stunning views of the Seine River and the city skyline. The bridge, known for its ornate sculptures and incredible views, is truly a piece of art in itself. Of course, no engagement session in Paris would be complete without a shot with the Eiffel Tower as background.
What made this day even more special was the opportunity to connect with Natalie & Max. As we wandered through the streets of Paris, we shared stories and got to know them better, talking about their plans for their upcoming destination wedding in Portugal. They’re such an energic and joyful couple, and it was an honor to be part of their journey to one of the most exciting days of their lives. An extra exciting detail that made the session even more meaningful is that Natalie & Max are also wedding photographers, and of course, they were just as excited as we were about the engagement session.
As the day unfolded, it became clear that Paris wasn’t just a backdrop for their engagement, it became part of their story. The city’s timeless beauty, coupled with the enthusiasm that Natalie & Max brought to the day, created a perfect blend of elegance and happiness.
Every couple has a unique story to tell, and being able to capture these moments, especially in such a romantic city like Paris, makes our job feel like more than just photography. It’s about documenting a love story for generations to come. We’re so grateful to have been part of their journey—from the engagement session in Paris to their beautiful wedding in Portugal. It’s been an incredible adventure, and we couldn’t be happier to have been there to capture it all.
If you’re dreaming of an engagement session in Paris (or anywhere else in the world!), let’s connect! We would love to help tell your story, wherever it takes us.
"There are only two places in the world where we can live happy:
at home and in Paris."
